What is Swim Carnival?
Swim Carnival is a live one-on-one race. Two players join the same race and each spells words at their own class-year level, so a Year 3 and a Year 5 learner can race fairly. Every correct spelling moves you up your lane; the first player to the top of the pool wins.
There is no chat in the race; players only see each other's nicknames. Parents can switch live races off for their child from the family page.
How to play
- Create a race, or join an open one from the lobby.
- Wait for your opponent, then spell each word as it is read out.
- Each right word moves you up your lane.
- First to the top wins (and earns that day's bronze coin, subject to the one-coin-a-day cap).

Can strangers talk to my child?
No. There is no chat or messaging. Players see a nickname only.
