By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms. If you are a parent or guardian creating an account for a child, you agree on the child's behalf and are responsible for their use of the site. Please read them together with the Privacy Policy.
Spell Kingdom has a Free plan and a paid Family plan; the plans page lists what each includes. What is included may change over time, but we won't remove something a paid plan already promises for the period you have paid for.
A parent account can start one free Family trial of 14 days. The trial needs no payment details and ends by itself: nothing is charged and nothing renews. When it ends the account returns to the Free plan, and learners keep their accounts and progress.
Paid plans are not on sale yet. Before they are, these terms will be updated with the price (in Australian dollars, including GST), how and when a plan renews, how to cancel and how refunds work, and those details will be shown clearly at checkout before you pay.
Coins, streaks, pets, hats and ranking positions are part of the game. They have no cash value, can't be bought, sold or transferred, and may be adjusted if we change the rewards system.
We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules. You can stop using the site, and delete an account, at any time.
The games, word bank, sentences, tips, characters, artwork and site design belong to us or are used with permission. You may use the site for personal, family and classroom spelling practice, and you may print or share the word lists on the spelling words pages for those purposes. Please don't copy the word bank or site content into a separate product without asking first.
If you enter content (a school word list, a pet's name), you give us permission to store and show it as the site is designed to (to that learner and their parent), and you promise you're allowed to use it. Word lists pass through a suitability filter, and we may remove content that isn't suitable for children.
Spell Kingdom is an independent project. It isn't produced or endorsed by ACARA, any other education authority or department, school or other game or technology company, and it isn't connected with any other game or brand.
We work to keep the site running, but it may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control. We may change, add or remove features, and we may update these terms. We'll post updated terms on this page with a new date, and for significant changes we'll also show a notice on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded. If you buy a paid plan, the consumer guarantees (for example that services are provided with due care and skill and are fit for their purpose) apply to it.
To the extent the law allows, and subject to your rights above, the site is provided as it is and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, rewards or rankings, arising from your use of it. Spell Kingdom is a practice tool, not a substitute for classroom teaching or professional advice (see the disclaimer). Where the law lets us limit our liability to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied, we do so.
These terms are governed by the laws of [State or Territory - set SPELLING_STATE], Australia, and both of us submit to the courts of that place.
